Rotocon Partners With TubePac
TubePac has forged a strategic partnership with ROTOCON, a leading provider of printing and converting solutions. Read further or download the PDF on the Rotocon-TubePac Partnership.
ROTOCON has supplied TubePac with state-of-the-art equipment including an MPS EF430 flexo press, ECOLINE plate washers and anilox roller cleaners, and CHROME slitter/rewinders. These technologies, combined with TubePac’s in-house expertise and innovative processes, have been instrumental in establishing their world-class tube production facility.
The following factors greatly influenced Glenton’s decision to choose the MPS EM430 Flexo Press:
- Integrated Tube Body, Shoulder and Cap Formation:
The MPS EF430 press allows for the “integrated production of the tube body, shoulder, and cap in a single process“. The MPS EF430 press offered the ability to not just print, but also form the tube body, shoulder, and cap in a single, integrated process. This efficiency and the ability to ensure perfect alignment of the printed graphics with the tube components would have been an attractive benefit. - Multi-Web Functionalities:
MPS EF430 press is “built with multi-web functionalities“. This allows TubePac to print on multiple layers of laminate material, ensuring consistent and accurate color reproduction across the different tube components. - Stable Web Transport:
The “stable web transport” feature of the MPS EF430 was crucial in minimizing the risk of print defects by ensuring the material moves smoothly through the press during the printing process. - MPS Ultra-flex Rail System:
The MPS Ultra-flex rail system on the EF430 press enabled TubePac to integrate a range of converting modules, such as the tube forming capabilities, into a single, highly customizable machine. This integrated approach streamlined their production workflow. - MPSConnect Feature:
The MPSConnect feature on the MPS EF430 press allowed for real-time data collection on all printing and operational parameters. This provided valuable insights for TubePac to continuously monitor and optimize their print quality. - Modular and Automated Design:
The “highly modular, fully automated” nature of the MPS EF430 press appealed to TubePac’s desire to establish a state-of-the-art, globally competitive tube production facility. The flexibility and automation would enable them to adapt and scale their operations as needed.
